We used to have regular Highland Pony Open Days, indeed, two a year, however the numbers attending gradually dropped off so we have discontinued the official Open Days. We used to have a Highland ride in the morning, returning for complementary lunch, then tea on the lawn and lots of Highland chat.
Sad that it came to an end. If a few Highland enthusiasts got together we would be happy to host as a venue but not to organise.

You will probably know that Brownbread Stud is also the farm at which the Charity, "Brownbread Horse Rescue" is based. The charity uses the facilities gratis. The Charity holds two Open Days annually, currently the 20th May 2012 and 2nd September 2012 where about 1,000 visitors attend each day. This is not a good day to chat with Dinty or Tony about Highlands as they are so busy, however there may be some Highlands stabled that have been rescued. Otherwise all the Highlands are moved to more distant fields for the day.

The Rescue Open Day is very full and fun for all the family with childrens corner, pony rides, archery, dog show, stalls, stage performances, arena events, and more. For details ring Tony on 01424 893922. Public come in 10.30 to 4pm and if you are able to help on the day please give Tony a ring.
